Random Thoughts

We make snowmen in Arizona. This one is in my neighborhood. I wish I could have gotten a picture of it yesterday or the day before. It was much taller. About 2 hours north of Phoenix, up in the mountains we get snow. We have a few ski resorts too. Often times, people with pick up trucks bring some snow back to the valley for a little fun.

What do you think this is? Hint - it's at the Chandler Public Library.

Mile 1128, Chandler, AZ - I got in a 4 miler today around the neighborhood. It wasn't fast, it wasn't all running. But, it was a run and that's good.

Oh, I watched the Ellen show yesterday, and she travelled to Flagstaff, AZ, thinking it would be all sunny and warm, and they were having a blizzard! Who knew? I guess it's in the mountains, huh? That is a sad little melting snowman in your neck of the woods, tho. :-)

Is that a collection of bookmarks at your library? Hey, I see some Body for Life pictures! Love that Bill Phillips.

I officially hate you and Lisa ;-) I'll be more than happy to dump all the snow on our front/back yard onto your street :P

Pat you are so rockin' the mileage for this year. I was trying to get in 1000 miles for the year but I'm going to come up definitely short now that I'm nursemaiding my knee. I'm still totally satisfied with over 750 miles, 3 marathons, 2 half marathons, and numerous other races thru my first year of running.

Awesome snowman!!!!

We are heading to Flagstaff after Christmas for the real stuff, and the way it looks, this year we might actually get to SKI!!!!!

Nice job getting the 4 miles in. A run is a run :)

I'm way behind in blogging. So, now I'm caught up.

Way to go on the half PR. Nice time!

Snow in the desert? What's up with that. No doubt that guy is gone by now.

Do you get snow days, too???

I'm betting on Bill to win and I think you and Bob will be very very close at the end. My prediction is that you'll take it by a pound or two.

I love your snowman! Are those newspaper clippings of when the city has given you citations?

It is fun to bring snow to places where it doesn't seem to belong.

Not sure about the wall of stuff, but it is a rather interesting composition. I hope you tell us all what it is.
