I finished 54th out of 122 runners and 3rd in my age group(6 total). This was a small race, so they only gave out trophies to the top 3 overall men and women. It would have been nice to get a medal, but if they were giving out medals in age categories, I'm sure there would have been more runners.

I consider any race that I finish in the top 50% a good race. You're getting a whole lot faster. The metals will come.

Congrats Pat in placing in your age group. Sorry to hear you didn't get a medal. I was debating on doing the Ostrich Festival 5K, but I'd figure since you never see a 6K race and that I have plenty of time to do 5K's, I'd do the 6K downtown.
In response to your previous entry too...I don't think it's cheating telling someone where they are at...and someone running backwards? Wow, that's talent and somewhat stupidity. Congrats on getting close to your PR. That's really great! Sometimes you can't always get a PR. Anyways, congrats again on doing very well.
