The Natural

Watched this Robert Redford classic tonight. It was a father's day present, an easy gift for me is any dvd that is baseball related. But, I'll probably start doing any dvd that's running or endurance related too.

Trivia Question: Roy Hobbs hit the game winner with a bat named?

Since I watched a movie, I taped the end of the Brewers v. Reds game. Watched most of the end while riding the bike. 40 minutes, 9 miles and the game still didn't end. But, my tape did. I had to turn on ESPN to find out that the Reds won in the bottom of the 12th. Sorry, Mike and J-wim. The good news for the Brewers is that Braun kid. He's amazing.

13 Consecutive Days

Barry Bonds (steroids) must be tickled pink that Michael Vick (dog fights) and Tim Donaghy (betting) are making him look good.

And finally, it took my wife only 13 hours to finish the latest Harry Potter book. My son finished it the next day. My daughter is in the middle of a book and has homework for honors english before she can start it. I still have to read book 6, but don't tell my family

Finally, another use for the Garmin. My son is learning to drive so I had the garmin on and it recorded his speed and where he went. I was with him today, but maybe this could be a tool for later.

How do you load the bases in the bottom of the 11th and not win the game? I believe early on in the season I told you Pat that the Brewers would look great but at some point...they would come unglued and falter. It is our trademark and tradition. I will not settle for anything less. Lead over the Cubs is 3. By mid August we will be 3 games behind them. Trust me.
Nice runs. The garmin makes you want to run. I love it.

DS finished the book, DH is almost done (but he already read the last chapter) and I am still in chapter 3 or 4 but I will get there. The key is to finish before DS tells me the ending. Better hurry up and finish book 6!

I like your thinking on the Garmin and teenagers...very smart! Maybe we should actually market something like that!

Lastly, I will work on putting some stats up in the sidebar...I am so lazy about that kind of thing!
