Ideal for Bizarre Run #2 didn't work.

I had another ideal, but it didn't work out. I don't think it was big enough.

Anyway, I got a normal run in today. 6 miles in a little over 73 minutes. I ran around my neighborhood and only walked twice. Three times if you count the time the two dogs came up to me. But, they were freindly and I was back on my way in no time.

I was happy that I could get in a good 6 miler two days after the half marathon to forget. Next year I'm going to do it again and I'm gonna smoke that race.

Tomorrow, I have to drop my car off at the Honda dealership. It's six miles away. Guess what I plan to do? Run home. Nope, I don't consider that bizarre.

Bizarre Run

Have you done your bizarre run for October? If you want to show off the run, let me know about it, tell about it on your blog and I'll post links to all the bizarre runs on Halloween. Then, we'll let everyone vote. Heck, if you win - I might just send you something bizarre.

Great job on the 6 miles post half mary. It takes me a while to bounce back so I think that's awesome!!

Hey Pat - I am behind on reading blogs - but wanted to say dont sweat the HM! I admire you so much for going out and just giving these races a try....I am not nearly that daring! (as you already know) Next year, those grandmas at the YMCA HM better watch out! :)

Bizarre run, huh? I am so not creative.

I AM however, thinking about a run on Saturday morning already ;) Can any run with the TRC be considered bizarre?

Here is my bizarre-est run in October. I don't know if I saved your email so I'm putting it here.

Pokey - if you wear a custume and take pictures, I think you can submit it! :D

I've actually done that a couple of times where I have dropped my car off for work to be done on it. It used to be about 3 1/2 miles from the dealership to my old house. Now it's more like 8 miles to my new one. I guess that's one way to get your mileage totals up.
